Tamale Stuffing (Dressing)
- 12 steamed tamales
- 2 cups grated Monterrey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1 medium onion, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon each: granulated garlic, oregano leaves, ground cumin, and dark chile powder
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. To make stuffing, crumble tamales by hand, then mix with remaining ingredients. Stuff in turkey that is mostly cooked and bake an additional 30-35 minutes until done.
