Good flavor, good mouth feel, hardly know that the binder is masa! Liked them a lot!

  2. Tasty

They were very flavorful . Reminded me of Apple pie.

  3. Apple pie good!

I love tamales, but never had a sweet one before. Just finished my first apple-raisin tamale and I loved it! I agree with the previous reviewer that some pecans would make it even better.

  4. Surprised at how good they were

I didn’t know what to expect so I added a half dozen to my order. What a wonderful surprise. We loved them. Great at breakfast with some scrambled eggs! Next time I’ll order a dozen!

  6. Tasty Difference!

I was anxious to try a fruit tamale, had never had one. I am not a fan but not because they aren't good, it's just not my cup of tea so to speak lol. Lots of apple, raisin cinnamon flavor but I prefer the meat tamales best :)

  7. A new desert favorite...

Awesome, these delicious tamales are; sweet, with a delicate texture, and full of flavor. Can't wait to purchase more!!

  8. Never heard of a sweet tamale

Posted by Kimmer on Aug 13th 2019

So, I just had to try them. Not bad, not bad at all. Very enjoyable hot sweet treat. Had to give them a 5 star rating because there is nothing I have eaten to compare with. I have since ordered the chocolate tamales.

  9. Needs pecans

They were good, but needs the crunch of pecans.

  10. Fantastic

I was initially a little bit skeptical and my wife was totally skeptical of apple/raisin tamales, but I gave them a try and I'm glad I did. They are just the right amount of sweetness without being cloying. A half and half mix with the pork tamales makes for a delicious meal as the flavors totally compliment one another.
